Winemaking Information
La Miccia is fermented in stainless steel tanks at cold temperatures to maximize the fruit character. It is fortified and sweetened with mistella, a mixture of estate Grillo must and brandy. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels which are consistently topped up, thus preventing oxidation, for five years.
SO2: No sulfur added to the wine
